Jocko Falls, outside of St. Ignatius

Roger and Suzy took us and the Parks up the rough road.

Humor that does not quit
Jocko Falls has many different levels.
This is the highest level way above
 the trail.
Several rock ledges carved out. Neat to sit on and listen
to the water.
Ledges and crevices...
Cool shore clusters....

Thanks for coming Parks family!!!

Wish it had been sunnier but we had a good time.

We are making our last round to the congregations.
Made lots of memories here and that makes us
look forward to making many more in our new
assignment. Please keep up with us right here. We
are sure there will be many more pictures to post!

New assignment starting September 1, 2015.

This is the whole state of Montana. Currently we serve congregations in the Northwest, a small corner compared to the rest of the state. The area you see all the yellow tags is the area of circuit 3 and where we are going.

There are 19 congregations and about 1400 publishers. Eyeing the map we figure that geographically we will cover 3 times the area we cover in circuit 1 where we are now.

We are looking forward to the next phase of our travels. We have already heard of many interest places and people that we will see and meet. Look for us here later!

Smoke Does Great Things for your Pictures!

It can be pretty smokey here in the fall because of
all the fires, but what it does to the lighting is
pretty amazing.

Saw another bear eating in a tree...

I think we are caught up.  Spring is here and I pulled out the camera
again.  Hope you are all well.

Take care and see you in Montana!

July in Glacier

My brother was here last summer
and we did some hiking at Logan Pass. It is the highest point you
can drive in the park...not the highest peak.  However,
there was snow in July.  See how the
boardwalk disappears under the snow.

In places you could see down to where the boardwalk was...

Lots of sheeps...

Goats too...

Pretty views!

If you ever get the chance, you should visit Glacier Park. It will take your
breath away!

Falls, falls and more falls...

There are lots of waterfalls here in the springtime. We tried
to get to one the other day and it was still
too snowy to get in.  Here are some of the waterfalls
we have been able to visit in
Montana.

Bering Falls

St. Mary's Falls

My brother is very smart. He pays attention to all the signs...

and it is a good thing :)

No worries. He was too busy digging stumps and looking for food
to worry about us. He gave us a good show though.

Eddy Peak

In the mountains surrounding Thompson Falls is Eddy Peak.
We went to the fire lookout with some friends to
watch the sun go down.  It was cold and windy
and the fire tower had been abandoned for the season.
It was October of 2014.

We were at about 6,900 feet.

Amenities...

The fog, snow and sunlight made for interesting pictures...

It was a little hike to the fire tower.

The river is the Clark Fork.

The sun went down and  it got even colder :)

Fire in the sky!

Another beautiful place we have seen along the way.
Always better shared with friends.
