Beauty Is in the Eyes of the Beholder...

Greetings from the mountains of Montana.  It has been a long time, but here we are.
Hope you enjoy the latest sights we have enjoyed.
Pictures do not do the scenery justice.  If you ever have a chance, Montana is a
beautiful place to see for yourself!

First, these are pictures taken out the window of the car going down the road :)

As you can see from the trees, signs of spring are here too.

Cool bench...this is sooooo Montana!
This picture, of course, was not taken from the car window...

This is Stella.  She is a pet of our host this week.  You can see Jack in the lower
left hand corner.  They also have Henry and three cats...Edward, Gweneviere, and Marcus.

 Noxon Resevoir.

What is it about water that is soooo cool?  You can see the reflection of the mountain
in the water...

Don't know if you can make them out, but these are elk in the distance.  They run around like
deer.

 Up close...

They finally got spooked...

The sky last night was amazing!
This picture is a little fuzzy, but you get the idea...

This is the view off our deck this week...

Took the dogs for a walk this week.  Thought this was a cool perspective.

All is well here.  So far neither of us has gotten the "crud" that has gone around this year.
Got to see some familiar faces from Oregon last night.  Campbells came over
from The Dalles for a wedding.  It was great to see them.  I must
admit, that is the hardest part of this job...missing all of our people!  Of course,
our people are scattered all over the place and we wouldn't see them all the time
anyway, but that is still the hardest thing!

We plan to be in Missouri in May for a little respite.  Hope to see some of you then.
Take care and see you soon.
