A menagerie...

I have a collection of miscellaneous and sometimes
unrelated pictures to post. So here we go...

This is mid-September in Glacier Park.

As you can see...there was snow on the ground.  As a matter of fact,
the road was closed to the top of the park.
We just got out and walked around.

This is called Avalanche Lake.

The cliffs show signs of erosion from the avalanches and ice...

It is a little hard to see, but there is a snow covered mountain in
the background above the central waterfall.  It just
looks like clouds, but it is a
mountain.

Lake McDonald

Noxon Reservoir...

A group of miscellaneous, cool, strictly perspective pictures...

trees...

a frosty morning...

sticks in the water :)

Finally, I sat in the car looking at this sight for some time before
I realized what had happened here...

I guess we do live in Montana :)

We hope all of you are doing well.  We are fine and staying busy.
Our time here is going fast. My goal is to learn to ski this
year.  We will see if time and circumstances
allow it.

Take care.

  1. I was scrolling through these photos thinking "WOW! That's gorgeous. I want to go to there." Then about half way down I realized it was Glacier. I guess I have been away too long.
