Seattle

So exciting to see a big screen....
Set up  and cleaning the day before the convention.

Our convention is coming up fast and taking our thoughts back to last year's exciting event held in Seattle at Husky Stadium. Yes we still have the pictures on our camera. :) Looking forward to this year's program. Chuck has two parts on the program. One has a video included. We are happy to be back in Missoula this year although Seattle was a huge treat.
....especially with Chuck on it. :)

Close up of stage area. His part on the convention was 12 minutes with 7 minutes of demonstration. He was relieved to have only 5 minutes of speaking in front of 30,000 and some people.

There were 3 big screens.
We also enjoyed several videos throughout the program.

The verses on which the audio dramas were based were posted
on the screens for the benefit of the Korean delegates.
Some spoke very little English.
One family that we sat near.

Many worn traditional dress. It was absolutely beautiful!

These friends were as eager to meet us as we were to meet them.

The locals in Seattle area did so much to welcome all the
delegates from several different countries.
This sign is just a small example.
Most were from Korea but we also had Netherlands,
Suriname, and a couple more.
One of the high highlights of the convention was meeting
a few young men who would serve a prison term for refusing military service shortly after returning
to Korea. Among the signs after the closing
session, this sign was the most touching.
