Peaks in the Cascades

Mt Hood

Thought this was cool.  The mountain had it's own personal snow storm.

Mount Jefferson

The mountains seem so much smaller when you are low in the valley.  They are huge when you are up high.
I want to say this is Mt Hood from Campbell's front yard...

This is one of our walking places.
It is situated in the middle of town.

This is the butte (byoot).  It is a cinder butte. That means it was formed
by volcanic activity.  The whole thing is made of volcanic
cinder.  Look at the lava rock in your outdoor grill and that is what it
looks like.  There are trails that snake around it to the top.  And yes
it is the cinder they put on the road in the winter time.

Views from the top.

South Sister                                               The two North Sisters

Mount Bachelor...which is the tourist draw.

Thanks to everyone at Cox Lebanon, I am sporting this sweet
case.  Loving it.  I have had it for a couple of months, but
never got around to taking a picture.

Thanks again   :)

We are doing well.  The weather is getting a little warmer.

This weekend we went to some friends house for dinner.  His sis over-nighted
a box of lobsters from Maine.  They were still alive and we
cooked them.  They were so yummy. Neither of us had had that
experience before.  (Can you put two hads in one sentence?)
Thanks to the LaRivs for that experience.

Headed to the "Valley" this week. We will be on the coast side of the
mountains.  This is a first. It is spring, so it should be beautiful.
We will have pictures.

Sorry it has been so long, but I will try to post more later.

Love to all.
