Montana Skies

Northwestern Montana is not known for it's clear winter skies, but it has been so
for several days.  We are near Flathead Lake so get some fog, but the sun
has been good to us this week.

You can see a little edge of Flathead Lake in the left corner of this picture...

Monday went on a little hike.  Tried snow shoes on for the first time. Getting used
to fun in the cold.  It was freezing cold for a couple of weeks.

Views from the mountain...

My guides :)

Sporting the snow shoes...

Skillful maneuvers...lol!!!

Trevor had  to get in on the action...

Don't know if you can make this out, but it is an osprey.  Big bird...
There were several golden eagles that I couldn't get a picture of.  They
were too quick

Loving this place.  Both Monica and I are well. She sends her love to everyone.
We had a rough week last week.  A dear friend died and we needed to
be here.  Wish we could have been with the family.

Take care everyone!
